Before and after - Why does she harp on about the 4 Day Week?

I know I sound like a broken record about the 4 day week. You would think I had nothing else on in my life. Why does she harp on so much about The 4 Day Week?

Here is why.

Every life is broken up into times we recall as being before and after an event in our experience. Before I left school, married, started that job, left that job, travelled, starting/ended that relationship, had children. There are so many life experiences that pin point moments when we had a change marking a shift from one part of our journey to another.

Is my reason marking my before and after burnout? Yes. Is it my before and after we tried the 4 day week in our business? Definitely yes. But these are not the reasons I have become single-minded about helping the world understand how we can work more productively and go home early.

It has become obvious to us all that working the way we have in the past is not the way we want to work for in the future and that, in time, things will change. Andrew Barnes and our team at 4 Day Week Global had set ourselves up to help businesses and governments see how beneficial it is to our society to work less. We do this because it is important and because we have been given a voice on this issue. We planned to spend the time, the rest of our lives, dedicated to this idea because it’s the right thing to do.

In my life I have had a significant change. In January this year my life was segmented into before and after my diagnosis of incurable cancer.

Now I only have the rest of my life to try to influence this change. It’s just not as much time as I had thought.

So bear with me if I seem single-minded, and if you want to make the the change too - check out how here - Get Started
