Úna Harty

Marketing Manager

She obtained an honours degree in Nanoscience, Physics and Chemistry of Advanced Materials from Trinity College, Dublin in 2019, following a sabbatical year where she led the communications and marketing of the students' union. Her time in Trinity was defined by her involvement in any extra curricular she could get herself involved with, except for when she couldn't get out of obligatory physics or chemistry labs. She has written two plays, one in Irish and one in English. The Irish play was performed as part of the 1916 commemoration and was featured on RTÉ.

Úna has made numerous television appearances since she was a teenager, including First Dates Ireland and Music Inc.

Recently Úna has been developing her skills in SEO, WordPress and Investigative Journalism. She is also a qualified project manager in PRINCE2 methodology.

In 2022 she took a year-long career break where she travelled around Asia and Europe. She enjoys making vlog-style and informative TikTok videos about her travels. She now lives in València, Spain and is learning Spanish. Is Gaeilgeoir í, le suim i bforbairt an Ghaeilge in Éirinn agus ar fud an domhain.

Úna is a seasoned marketer with a passion for brand strategy and design. She is excited to be a part of creating a million years of new free time with the future-of-work non-profit, 4 Day Week Global.

Her experience spans marketing, journalism, social media, graphic design, communications, customer experience and strategy, and employee experience. Her interest in content creation began when she was a teenager, when she organically grew her Twitter account to over 48,000 followers.

Úna is a generalist with a curiosity which extends beyond a specific industry or skillset. Her three years of management consulting experience demonstrate this, where she worked across a range of industries, including HR, Health, Public Services, Insurance, Big Tech, Consumer Products and Utilities.

Previous to this, she worked in various communications and content creation roles. She is also a freelance writer, exploring people-interest stories through an investigative lens. She has been dabbling in journalism since her college days where she discovered her passion for feature writing and layout design.
